Chuy’s VW started out of a lifelong love for classic Volkswagens. From the moment I restored my first Beetle, I knew I wanted to share that passion. I saw so many VW lovers struggling to keep their classics on the road, and I wanted to create a place where their cars could be cared for with the same dedication I had. Today, Chuy’s VW is that home—a place where every restoration carries a piece of that original passion.

At Chuy’s VW, I’m at the heart of every project, but I’m not alone. I lead a skilled team: a master upholsterer, a bodywork specialist known for his beautiful craftsmanship, and my trusted mechanic who’s been with me for over 30 years. While I know every inch of these cars and oversee every detail, it’s our combined expertise that makes the magic happen.
